Dental Bridges
If you have missing teeth, you are probably unhappy with your smile. A bridge is the ideal solution to replace those missing teeth without the need of surgery!
A dental bridge is anchored by the remaining natural teeth that reside adjacent to the gap in your mouth. It is made of dental crowns. This is a great option that can improve the appearance of your smile, restore your ability to properly chew and speak, prevent remaining teeth from drifting out of place, and/or maintain the shape of your face.
In order to place a dental bridge, we ask that you expect two visits to our practice. During the first visit, we will prepare the natural teeth on both sides of the gap to allow room for the crowns. Then, we will take impressions of your teeth and send them to the dental lab where your bridge will be fabricated. While we are waiting for your bridge to come back from the lab, you will wear a temporary bridge that we make in our office during the first appointment. When your bridge is ready, you will come back to our office to have the bridge placed. When the perfect fit is achieved, the bridge will be permanently cemented into your mouth.
